Wat Arun Temple and Phra Sumen Fort, Bangkok, Thailand

As well as enjoying the river trips, I also paid a visit to the Wat Arun Temple, a pretty iconic Bangkok temple (which I last visited almost 30 years ago – it hasn’t changed much!).

I also managed a quick stop-over at the Phra Sumen Fort, which was a very nice surprise as I hadn’t been there before. It also turned out to be where the backpackers hang out  and I had my first banana pancake in a very quaint area called Soi Rambuttri Village. It was a surprisingly hot day though and I managed to get pretty burnt since I forgot to bring a hat! I won’t make that mistake again.

That only leaves one other video to post, which I took on one of the long-tailed boats that ply the Cho Praya River, but I’ll save that for the next post..
